In June 2014 we moved out of our house and into a 32 foot trailer set up on our property 8 miles west of town. Once we moved out, we could get serious about getting house completely ready to put on the market. We moved into this house in 2004 and had almost completely redone everything in the place. It has been a bittersweet process for us to sell our first home that we have poured so many hours of our lives into making it beautiful. However, it's been our dream to live in the country; we've had 3 acres next to my parents for a few years now and we are anxious to get up there and enjoy the land. So, we sold our house and jumped in!
The property is beautiful. We wanted our kiddos to have the experience of growing up here and experience play in nature.
Once our house sold, we started the building process. We selected a builder and started the very long process of selecting, designing, and revising our house plan.
